Veelgestelde vragen

Quick answers.

Is my audio uploaded to a server?

No. The conversion is performed locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Your files stay on your device throughout the entire process.

Which formats are supported?

The tool supports common containers and codecs including MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, and M4A/AAC. Support for specific codecs depends on your browser's underlying capabilities.

Does converting reduce the audio quality?

Converting to lossy formats like MP3 or AAC will reduce quality due to compression. Converting between lossless formats like WAV and FLAC preserves original audio fidelity.

Are there file size limits?

The only limit is your device's available system memory. Since the file is processed locally, very large files may cause the browser tab to slow down or refresh.
