Veelgestelde vragen

Quick answers.

Where are my passwords stored?

Data is stored locally in your browser's indexedDB. We do not have a database of your passwords and cannot access them even if we wanted to.

What happens if I forget my master password?

There is no 'password reset' mechanism because we do not store your master password. If you lose it, the encrypted data cannot be recovered.

How do I move my vault to another computer?

Use the 'Export' feature to save your encrypted vault as a file, then use 'Import' on your other device and enter your master password.

Is the encryption secure?

We use the industry-standard AES-256 algorithm implemented via the SubtleCrypto web API. This provides military-grade encryption directly within your browser environment.
