No. Processing happens entirely within your browser using WebAssembly. Your original video and the cropped version never leave your computer.

›Which video formats are supported?

The tool supports common containers and codecs including `MP4`, `WebM`, and `MOV`. Support depends on your browser's capability to decode the source file.

›Will cropping reduce the video quality?

The video is re-encoded during the crop. We use high-quality settings by default to ensure the output remains as sharp as the original footage while reducing the frame dimensions.

›Can I crop to specific aspect ratios?

Yes. You can select standard presets like 9:16 for stories, 1:1 for posts, or 16:9 for widescreen, as well as define a custom freeform area.
