›Can I audit local or private URLs?

No. Because our server must fetch and render the page to calculate performance, the URL must be publicly accessible on the internet.

›Is the audit data stored or tracked?

We do not store the results of your audit or the URLs you test. The data is processed in real-time and exists only in your current browser session.

›Why do mobile and desktop scores differ?

Mobile audits use a throttled network connection and slower CPU simulation to reflect real-world handset performance. Desktop audits assume a faster connection and more efficient hardware.
